It was a near single-handed effort by Glenn Phillips, who smashed his second T20I century to take New Zealand to a competitive total. The rest of the batters struggled, with Daryl Mitchell's 24-ball 22 being the second best effort. For as well as Sri Lanka bowled, they were let down by the fielders, who dropped Glenn Phillips twice and had to pay a heavy price for it.
